Unlimited Mobile Internet Deals 2020: Comparing Smile, MTN, Airtel, Africell and LycaMobile Uganda
The launch of Lycamobile Uganda’s data bundles has sparked a conversation about unlimited mobile internet yet again. Pioneered by Orange Uganda, unlimited mobile data deals have always put a strain on data networks leading to poor quality of service. Well, what do telecom companies offer when it comes to unlimited internet in 2020? We shall compare all these data bundles based on cost alone and the rest will be left for you to judge.
With a blooming snippet of the previous year packages to the current packages where speeds and price are now the drivers of headless data options, the fate of unlimited mobile internet is now a competition between telcos focused on competing for the same subscriber base at a time when bundles prices are exciting with flooded recharge wallets.
No doubt that the best Unlimited Mobile Internet for a telecom can be judged by the speeds cap and cost of a package mixed with the availability rate. MTN, Africell, Airtel Lycamobile, and Smile Communications are some of those unlimited internet providers you can think of. Airtel has no mobile unlimited solution but a home broadband solution and Roke Telkom comes in as a viable home/work unlimited solution, and with the rate of packages offered, here is what these telcos have to offer.

The best Mobile Unlimited Internet provider
This has always been a hard question to answer across the board. All telecom companies offer great unlimited internet deals, except for the fact that most offer packages that are capped. For instance, some of the service providers control your usage rate with daily caps while others have a single joint cap and once it’s met, your package slows down at tortoise running speeds.
Smile Communications seems to be the only MNO offering true mobile unlimited internet. The more speeds your package has, the faster it depletes beyond the total cap set. So, when speeds are high beyond 3Mbps, it means the package has an overall data cap that slows down once you hit the limit.
As per our experience, all network providers offer similar unlimited deal with only a few twists to guarantee a full connection. Henceforth, the unlimited packages are the same with only a hyper grade to premium levels to guarantee a much faster package with basic low caps you can rely on for a proper connection. Nonetheless, share with us your opinion in case you’ve used unlimited internet via any service provider
