The new macOS is called Big Sur and here is everything it brings

Just like iOS 14 and iPadOS 14, Apple has taken wraps off the new macOS version called Big Sur. There are numerous visual changes that make the new version feel and appear actually new. It is said to be the biggest visual change since the release of macOS X.
There are features that have been imported from the iOS version that should change the way you interact with certain tasks. The first thing that being an experience macOS user you will notice is that the Dock at the bottom looks slightly different. It now feels more like the iOS and iPadOS app dock. The Finder has been revamped visually and now looks similar to the Files app on iOS and iPadOS.
The signature iOS Control Center has been added to macOS. It will allow users to perform actions like brightness adjustment, enable/disable DND, WiFi settings, Bluetooth settings, AirDrop, AirDisplay, and more from a single place. All native apps have also been tweaked visually to go with the new iOS-inspired visuals.
This does not stop here as new iOS 14 features that Apple talked about only minutes ago, they have also been added to the all-new macOS Big Sur. These include new home screen widgets, Messages syncing including pinned messages, and revamped Apple Maps application.
Apple is further bringing Safari improvements that it is calling the biggest change since the browser's launch about two decades ago. It says that the browser has been made much faster and battery efficient than previous builds. In comparison to Chrome, it is claimed to load commonly visited websites 50% faster on average. It will even show information about site trackers to maintain user privacy through the Privacy Report button.
Safari is also receiving support for Extensions that will be available through the Mac App Store. It will offer granular privacy control permissions that can be enabled on per-website, per-day, and per-session basis. This is not surprising considering Apple is known to emphasize on user privacy.
Other Safari changes include a background image for the new tab, native translation support, and color favicons for tabs. The latter would be helpful when working in multiple tabs. A preview of a tab's content can be seen by hovering the mouse over that particular tab.
